Please Help Michaela
During 2015, we were able to help a severely injured little poodle named Michaela. She had gaping wounds and was severely dehydrated and anemic. Due to damage from dehydration to her eyes, she had to have her eyes removed, but has adjusted wonderfully in her foster home. She will have to have one more surgery for a wound in her neck but she is thriving and loves to sing to the radio.
Most animals we take in require spay/neuter and heartworm and flea preventatives, plus some nutritious food. We frequently have to administer heartworm treatment which is expensive. We so appreciate any donations to help with all the medical treatments that are required. Any donation, no matter how small, is very helpful. Anyone that is interested in donating to our cause, please use the donation button above.
Or please send your mail in donations to - P.O. Box 625, Holly Springs, MS 38635
Thanks to everyone for your support!!

The Marshall County Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic has found a new location across from the Byhalia City Hall. Dr. Isis Johnson, with the aid of a volunteer support staff, has performed over 10,000 spay/neuters to date. Call 662-564-2900 and leave your name and phone number to get an appointment. Every spay or neuter helps reduce the number of unwanted animals in our county.
We are very interested in keeping our pets people friendly and in an environment that is as close to home as we can get. Because of this concept, we have daily human contact with our animals at the Adoption Center or keep some of our animals in "foster home" settings. Our wonderful volunteers open their hearts and homes to adoptee pets until permanent homes are found. To visit any animal the the Marshall County Humane Society has for adoption, please call 662-564-2900 for an appointment.
