Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. From Foster Mom:

Dora is the dog I would have adopted, had I not been blessed with finding my other two rescues first.  She is, without a doubt, the sweetest, gentlest, happiest, most good natured dog I’ve ever known.   Nothing breaks her smile or wag.  She walks pretty well on a leash, knows sit, wait for dinner, wait for the “okay” to go outside.  She rarely barks, but makes cute little squeaky squeals when she’s very happy.  She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.  Her broken foot is still healing, but well on its way.  She was trying to get to her foster mom by climbing the fence and broke her foot. Her foot is all healed now and she is doing great!
