Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Madison had a hard start in life.  She was wandering around on the road with 2 other dogs for months.  One of our members was finally able to catch her after several tries.  She is a sweet, affectionate dog, who seems to appreciate being rescued.  We just got her DNA done and it shows Labrador Retriever, Chow, Staffordshire Terrier and Weimaraner.  She has been through heartworm treatment and is doing well.  She weighs 32 lb. so fairly small in size.  She will be a good family dog for someone.
