Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Requires a yard

Sponsors: Rubv was found running in traffic and apparently it was an old habit because we discovered that she had a broken left hip. So we raised funds to help fund her surgery thru a ‘Guess her breed’ contest. Surprisingly, her DNA showed her to be 39% poodle, 12% Siberian Husky, 12% Pitbull Terrier and 10% Golden Retriever, which doesn’t really reflect in her appearance, but she’s a beautiful girl. She has been recovering the last few weeks from surgery and is doing well. She’s only a little over a year old so recovering fast. She is ready for adoption now as long as her new family tries to keep her somewhat calm and no tall leaps or extreme exercise.
