Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Gwen  is an older dog (10)  and she has been with another dog all her life so we feel she would do best if she has a dog companion.  Also she has had mammary tumors which we had removed.  The vet does tell us she is likely to have them recur.  So that will be additional veterinary expense. She is a very sweet dog and still very playful. We took her recently when her family had to give her up due to health reasons.
