Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. This sweet boy came to us recently after a young couple said he was uncomfortable with their baby.  He would probably be fine around older children, but nervous around little ones. He is housetrained and easy to handle, so would probably fit right in with your family.  He just needs a new family to love. Baxter is 8 years old so no chewing to worry about.
