Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Hi! My name is Toodles and I  need to go to Overeaters Anonymous meetings, but I live at the shelter and no one has time to get me to meetings. When I was recently sharing living space with just 2 other cats, they became very skinny, ‘caz I couldn’t stop eating all the food. I just love eating so much that the other cats don’t like me. I need to be a in a home where I’m the only cat. And I guess my eating needs to be monitored so I can lose weight and be healthier. I weigh 16 lb. and the shelter people seem upset about that. Please can you help me find a home where some loving person can watch over me and help me control my problem?
