Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Suzie is a very sweet little dog who absolutely loves attention and cuddling.  She does need to be an only dog. She is currently in a foster home and doing well, but sometimes gets a little agressive with the 4 other dogs in the household. She seems to get scared when they all start running and jumping around and feels the need to defend herself.  She is cat friendly and housetrained so would make a great pet for someone.  She had an injury to her trachea and occasionally has a cough.  She took medication for a while and now seldom has the cough.   She is a dog full of heart and love and you would fall in love with her if you met her.
